Voucher That Record

Dot distribution maps imply a voucher (specimen or photograph) in an institutional collection that can be verified by others. Naturalists and citizen scientists have contributed substantially to our understanding of amphibian and reptile distributions, by vouchering and publishing their observations. To encourage this trend, we provide a link to the submission page for herpetological photo vouchers at the ASU Biocollections. Vouchers accessioned at ASU will be included in the dot maps for Amphibians and Turtles of Arizona and Lizards of Arizona.
